What is the GMAT test

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is one of the standardized tests used as an entrance exam for admission to graduate and postgraduate programs at foreign universities, primarily for admission to MBA (Masters of Business Administration) programs in the United States, but also for admission to many international study programs.

GMAT CAT (Computer-Adaptive Test) is computer-adaptive, adjusting to your level of knowledge. At the beginning of the test, you are given a medium-level question. If you answer it correctly, the next question will be at a higher level, and if you answer it incorrectly, the following task will be easier. In this way, each question or task appears individually, and you do not have insight into past or future questions and tasks. You cannot skip, return to, or revise previously selected answers. As part of the exam, you may receive several experimental questions that are not scored for your result, and these questions do not adapt to your level of knowledge.

GMAT test scoring

The scoring and result of the GMAT test depend on the number of questions you answered correctly and the level and statistical characteristics of each question or task. The total score for the Quant and Verbal sections of the exam is expressed on a scale of 200 to 800. AWA and IR are scored separately.

WHAT DOES THE GMAT TEST PREPARATION LOOK LIKE AT ARTE ET MARTE?

For successful exam preparation, we recommend timely attendance of preparatory courses for a specific exam to gain experience in taking the test and to prepare more effectively. To achieve the desired results, it is necessary to know and confidently master specific exam techniques that can help you achieve a higher score.

We emphasize the measurability of progress, so before attending the course, we recommend taking a practice entrance exam, and at the end of the course, a exit exam (both included in the course fee). Further group or individual work will focus on improving skills in which you achieved lower results.

The course includes improving the skills tested on the GMAT exam, but more importantly, mastering specific exam techniques. Some of these skills include special techniques for identifying specific information.

In our approach to teaching and counseling, we use tried and tested principles and methods that we have adopted and perfected through years of pedagogical and methodological work. Group classes are organized in small groups at times agreed upon, and even in group lessons, our professors maintain an individual approach to each student. We also believe that our task is to provide students with the necessary assistance in a comfortable and relaxed working atmosphere.

TESTIMONIALS
