What is the Duolingo Test

Duolingo test structure
The Duolingo test is taken from the comfort of your home or any other place with a good internet connection. To access the exam, you must have a camera, speakers, and a microphone on your computer. The test assesses writing, reading, listening, speaking, and correct use of the English language, and the test itself consists of three parts:
–A brief 5-minute introduction where you receive instructions and rules for taking the test.
–A 45-minute adaptive test that assesses your English language skills (excluding speaking).
–A 10-minute video interview used to evaluate speaking proficiency
All parts are taken in sequence without a break. The assessed components include:
Literacy – the ability to read and write,

Duolingo test scoring
The results of the Duolingo test are evaluated on a scale ranging from 10 to 160. Each part is assessed separately, and the overall score is the average of the four sections. In addition to the numerical score, candidates receive a general description of their abilities.
